Yes I'm back.. again

For all the people who know me, I have a habit of coming and going with the whole "let’s make a website and blog" kind of thing, and I must say, for those who have enough brain power and lack of laziness in them are amazing, and I truly idolize you wholeheartedly.

It's been roughly… a year I suppose, since I've managed to pull my shit together and buckle down into making a site. Out of pure boredom and lack of people to talk to, I've decided to create (once again) a site in order for me to write down my thoughts of the current situations of today.

One thing I've been meaning to have a good bitch about would be the Olympics that have been occurring for the past couple of weeks. No, I will admit, I am not a big Olympian fan. However, I will admit that besides the fact that I find the cyclist hardcore for riding against gravity, and the sizes of bikini bottoms used during beach volleyball and how sand would just go everywhere just simply amazes me, I find watching sports somewhat boring.

The main thing I wanted to get across today was the all controversial Opening Ceremony, where once again, we see a little girl sing for the whole world to see, and having my mum, yet again, point out the lack of "balls" I have compared to someone half my age.

What got me slightly ticked off a couple of days later was the news headlines being splashed practically everywhere concerning her "lack of singing" so to speak. So she lip synced? Didn't Niki Webster do that in the Australian Olympics? I mean, honestly, if you threw in a tiny little girl in front of billions of people and told her to sing, I'm sure even the toughest of man would have fallen to the hands of nervousness.

So I suppose the reason why it was so OTT with headlines and what not would be that the person who actually sang the song was a completely different child to the one who actually sang it, but honestly... we don't know the real reason why the 'real' singer didn't appear on TV so why make such a big hassle about it? Confuses me greatly.

Sorry for the random blog, but I just wanted to get it off my chest smile , I promise next time I won’t have such a random and slightly insane blog.
